Now there are the things
that
Chrifl
is
wonder
-
ful
in, to reveal thing; that 'are
fo
high
, and
fo
wonderful
and glorious
,
therefore

Chrifl was
performing
that
Prophetical
Office

wondered
at
the

words

if

is
true,
before
Chrifl
was
Incarnate, there
was
fomewhat

the myflery
of

and our fore-fathers
that
were
Paved
,
were
faved by
Gofpel
but the knowledge
of the
glorious my-
ages of the
Gofpel
were
kept hid
till that
great Prophet
fhould
come
into the
world
, and
that
is a
fpecial
reafon
why all
the time before the
Incarnation
of
Jefus
Chrifl,
there
was fo
little
knowledge
;
God,
and the
way
of
eter-
nal
life
was
known
fo
little, becaufe the
Lord would referve
the Revelation of
himlelf, and thole great Counfels
of
his
Will
concerning mans
eternal
eflate
,
hee would referve
them
for
the
great
Prophet
to
come
to
reveal
,
and
when
Chrifl came, then
broke
forth
light
into the world
;
and
as
Chrifl
comes
to
any
place,
fo
there
breaks forth
the
ligh_
of
thole
glorious
fupernatural
things
that
are
above
the
reach
of
reafon ,
yea fuck things
as
Angels could never have
un-
derflood,
therefore
I
remember
itis
fail,
in
one
piace,
That
thole
things
are made known
to
Angels
by
the
Gofpel,
the Lord fending
his
Minifters
in
his
Name
to preach
thole
things
from Chrifl,
that
fo
the
Angels come to
underfland
further things
in
the
myflery
of
the Gofpel, than they
-did
before
;
therefore
they are things above
the reach
'of
any
mens
underflanding
whatfoever.
