the good

that

Chrill hath

purchafed

and therefore

it

is

a

happy

thing

for

one

to

have

an

immortal foul

, becaufe

they

are

not

out

of

capacity

of receiving

that

good

that the

Lord

Chrift bath

purchafed for

his

people;the

brute

beafts are

not

capable,

they

are capable

of

no

higher

good ,

but

to

eat

and drink, and live here

a

while,

and have

their

fenfes

to

bee pleafed, and there

is

an

end of them, but know,what-

foever thou

art,

thou art

capable of all

the

good

that ever

Chrift hath purchafed , and therefore

thy condition

is

a

great deal better in

that

than the

condition

of all

other creatures

in

the world. And

a

foul

in thee

God hath

made

for

eternity
