Rule. 'Tis no difhonour

to

the

Holy Spirit,yea it

is

a

great

Honour to have

his

motions

within

us,

tryed

by the

Word,that he

given

for

a

Rule

without

us.

Yea

when any

before; He

doth not

now move

in us

to

give

a new Rule

but

a

was

before.

The

of

the

the

are for

things

wherein,though the

yet

The

perplexing,

grievous, and tumultuating. Sathan

3.

They.know

that

all

motions

of

-the Spirit whereby

they are lead,

are

orderly;

as

is

Gods

Covenant

with

us, ordered

in all

things, fo

the

Spirit

of

God

us

every

duty,

in its own

when

as

as

to

up

at the

Satan.

They

When

they are

then they fhould be

and

when they are

at their

are tempted,for. not laying

knew that

this

They

know

that

all

the

of

the

as

they

are

good,

fo

they tend

unto

a

good end.

Doth that

it

affure

them

of

the

love

of

God

?

It

is

that

they

may

be

more

humble,

thankefull, watchfull?

When

all

the

compliances and combi-

hearts, evenwhen they

compell

good

duties,are

for falle, evill,and
