from Chrift

from

his

we

receive

Now

looke

as

a

receive

thofe

muft

but

we

But how

can we_receive

the

Some thinke

that

wehave firft

grace,

that

is,

that the

fpirit

as an

ayde

without

us,

doth

make

us

aáually

be-

leeve,

that

fo

the

fpirit afterward

by habit

of

faith and all

other

fanti-

fying graces,

may

come

to

dwell

in us.

Now they

would anfwer, that

though we cannot

beleeve

without

the outward

aide

of

the fpirit, yet

we might

beleeve

without the

fpirit,

by

an

fupernaturall

habit dwel-

ling

in us ;.but

this

is

the errour

of

the

for we

are faid

Wee,erge,are

then we

receive it

more fully and manifeffly, dwelling

in us

to

our

faniification

and affúrance,

touching

our

redemption.

Wherefore let

us

labour

by

faith to be

one

with

Chrift

;let

us care,

as it

were,

and drinke

him,

by beleefe on

him,

then

fhall we feele

the

let

fo

here,

the more our faith

dilateth

it

more abundantly

doth

this fpirit flow into

us

from

We

fee

the idoli faith which many

for itbringeth them not

to be

partakers

ofa

nay

their faith

fpirit

of

fuch

a

Thus having confidered

the

benefit

lift it more
