fpirit

is

Paid

to

be

an earnefl

of

our in-

heritance;

the

durance

of

time,

in

thofe words,

the property adjoyned,

demption

the

Firft

then

that

he changeth

the gender,

and fpeaketh

of

the

Spirit,

as

a

Perfon who

is,

it

is

to

be marked,

not

onely

as

confirming

the

fpirit

to be

a

diftinéì

perfon from

the Father

and

the Sonne,

and

alto

giving

us

to confider that

we have

the

perfon

of

the

fpirit

dwelling with

us,

and

the gifts

and graces

wrought

in

our foules.

It

is

not

with the

fpirit

and

hisgifts,

as

with

the

Sonne and his

light,

the body of the Sonne

ing
