mens Confciences
may
tell
them

they have bie ends in
their oppoftion

That if
they
will
examine
things according
to
confctence,
their
confciènce
will
tell
them, that
their
ends are bie-ends that they doe
oppofe upon.
They
fay
they
oppofe fuch and
finch
things,
and
will
not
be knowne
that
they oppofe righteoufnefre,
but
what are your ends
?
is
it
not from
force

times

way, and
it's
that
moves
you,
and
you
fhall
get
into
countenance
by this meanes

Cer-
tainly if
falfe
ends do
a&
us,
it
is
not
righteoufneffe
that

us,

wrath
ofman
will not aecomplifh
the
righte-
aufneffe
ofGod;
Neither
will mens
corruptions,
nor
the
faire
ends of
men provide for themfelves,
it
will
not
accomplish
the
righteoufneffe
ofGod.

are divers

evidences
that might
be
given
:

faine
have
concluded in
a
word of
Exhortation
to
men, to take
heed
what
they do

many
things I had
thought
to
have fpoken
in
a
way
of
Exhortation, that
men
ihould
beware of
what
they
oppofe
:
Examine things through-
ly now
;
For
my
Brethren,thefe
are
the
times
wherein

And
therefore
though
Chrifl
was
patient
towards perfecutors in former
times, they
muff
not expe& that he
will
be
fo
patient
now,
for
it
is
a
time
of
pulling
down
the
man
of
fin

then
he was,
we
fee
Curia
more a&ing and
flirting,
Chrifl
is
rifen,
and
if Chrifl
he rifen, his enemies 'mutt

And
therefore
though
in
the
times that were before,much
was
winckt
at, but
now
Chrifl
is
rifen,
and
is
furring,
and
therefore
take heed
of
oppofing
of that
that
is
good
:

ther

there times
there's
more
lightanddifcove.ries
then

fore

are
more
profefiors
of
Religion
now
then
heretofore,
and
therefore there's
more danger of
oppofing of
the
saints
now
then

betides,
we are about
difcovering
and
fearching out of
the
way
of God

did not
know
before;
and what now,in

time of
fearching
after
things,
and
when
we
come
to
profeffe many things
that
heretofore
we
did
norprofefr'e
but were
